Our Service

Design Consultation & Technical Advice

Our design knowledge stems from years of working on some of the most highly bespoke and challenging projects in the UK.

Translating an architect’s vision into reality can be difficult when combining aesthetics with performance requirements. This is where we see our strength, as our years of hard earned technical knowledge can help to realise this vision.

Our dedicated Technical Resources page has been setup with advice and guidance in mind. We’ll be adding to this over the coming weeks and months so make sure you keep to date for the latest developments.

Site Surveying

We can offer a complete site surveying service. We always recommend a detailed site survey as standard when working on bespoke projects to both ensure manufacturing details are correct whilst also flagging up any potential problems before they occur.

Our surveyors harbour a wealth of practical experience, having surveyed numerous specialist doors and bespoke joinery projects across the country.

CAD / BIM modelling

Our CAD/BIM technicians have a real and practical understanding of bespoke joinery and specialist doorsets. We believe that training an employee who harbours this knowledge is the most successful strategy when dealing with complex products.

We can offer this service to compliment any stage of your project, ensuring clarity and assisting successful interpretation of manufacturing information.

Project Management

Our Project Managers provide overall planning, coordination and control of your project, working closely with you to ensure your requirements are adhered to.

They can be involved as much or as little as you require, providing expert advice on everything from compliance with global assessments to design considerations.

They can also be the interface with consultants and contractors, and (if required) visit site to liaise with site operatives and attend site meetings.

Finalising production details is a crucial stage within the order process as bespoke doorsets require a detailed production schedule before manufacture can proceed.

Our Project Managers will work closely with you to ensure the project design brief, compliance and performance characteristics are observed.

C W Fields & Son integrated production schedules are produced in a clear and understandable format to enable all parties to easily understand manufacturing information and ensure the project is coordinated correctly.

Production schedules can be planned to correlate doorset types/numbers with site location plans, ensuring the project is delivered and installed correctly.
