A very heavy hardwood with a striking texture, Quilted Moabi has a unique pommele pattern with irregular grain. The sapwood tends to be pale yellow to pinkish grey, whereas the heartwood ranges from reddish to pinkish brawn and can darken to a deep red brown tone.
